  • Confidentiality:

Confidentiality is essential in psychological counseling and guidance services due to ethical principles. Personal information of students applying for these services is not shared with any individual or institution. However, if a situation poses a danger to the student or to society, necessary precautions are taken, and relevant information may be shared with third parties or institutions with the student's knowledge.

  • Sensitivity to Individual and Cultural Diversity:

In the psychological counseling and guidance process, the individual differences of all our students are respected. We carry out our services inspired by the belief that all people—regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity—are worthy of respect under all circumstances.

  • Unconditional Positive Regard:

Our service approach embraces and supports patients as they are, free of judgment or criticism, regardless of their behavior.

  • Empathy:

Empathy can be considered a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. It is the process of accurately perceiving patients' feelings and thoughts and reflecting these to them in therapeutic ways.

  • Competence:

Our unit prioritizes competence in its personnel and proficiency in its services. Services that fall outside the scope of our expertise are referred to relevant authorities with defined competencies, such as psychiatrists and special education specialists.
