A seminar on nomophobia was organized.

The event, held at the Faculty of Communication of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, aimed to raise students' awareness about digital addiction and to promote healthy technology use. The data obtained from the TÜBİTAK 2209 project, which was conducted to raise awareness about nomophobia, was presented to the audience.

The event, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sinan Tam and led by Hatice Al, a 4th-year Public Relations and Advertising student, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, academic staff, and students.

Al presented the research findings on the nomophobia levels of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University students across different classes and faculties. The event featured a presentation by psychologist Mehmet Karabatan on the psychological effects and consequences of nomophobia, while also addressing other addictions such as gambling and gaming.

The event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the speaker.
