Wind OF BANU stars public sports games with A win

BANÜ Wind Makes a Strong Start to the Public Sports Games Futsal Tournament

The “Wind of BANÜ” team, consisting of staff members of our university, participated in the Public Sports Games Futsal Tournament organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

In the group stage of the tournament, BANÜ Wind competed in the same group with teams consisting of staff members from the Bandırma Tax Office, Gönen Tax Office, and Gönen District Governorship. In their opening match, BANÜ Wind faced the Bandırma Tax Office team.

Taking control of the game from the opening whistle, our team displayed a dominant performance, effective teamwork, and high intensity throughout the match. Maintaining their superiority until the final whistle, BANÜ Wind secured a convincing 5–0 victory, making a strong start to the tournament.

The Public Sports Games provide an important opportunity for our university staff to come together through the unifying spirit of sports and the values of solidarity and teamwork. Our team’s determined performance on the court was greatly appreciated.
